The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - C.S. Lewis Four siblings enter a wardrobe and discover a magical world where they meet the great lion Aslan and together with him defeat the White Witch.“Daughter of Eve from the far land of Spare Oom where eternal summer reigns around the bright city of War Drobe, how would it be if you came and had tea with me?”Of all the Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is my all-time favorite, a classic tale of a land where it is always winter, but never Christmas, until, of course, the great lion Aslan returns and breaks the witch’s spell. It’s a story I’ve read many times, but one that each time I find something new to enjoy about it.This time, I listened to an audiobook, which isn’t something I normally do, but I’m glad I did, as even my preschooler was able to catch enough of the story to enjoy it with me. At the end, he gleefully announced, “Yay! Lion saved the day!”Overall: A wonderful adventure for the whole family to enjoy
