What a cute book! A novel written from the perspective of a dog as he lives four lives and learns all about what it is to be a dog. The characters -- both dog and human -- were realistic, and the main characters were multi-dimensional. I don't normally read books about dogs, but as the book progressed, I found myself wanting a dog, specifically one like the narrator. Though a heartfelt novel with lots of emotion, it also had enough humor to keep me interested. I'd definitely recommend this one to any dog-lover!
